Podder of the Month: Lindsey

I am pleased to announce this month’s podder of the month is Lindsey!

Lindsey a, U.S podder, has been part of the Slimpod programme since 2022, and many of you will know her from our community  She’s always encouraging others, sharing thoughtful posts, and getting stuck into challenges with her usual down-to-earth approach.

What I really admire about Lindsey is how she approaches this journey! She fully embraces Slimpod with quiet persistence and a willingness to experiment with what feels right.

Real change, still happening

Even after three years of podding, Lindsey is still noticing changes — and that’s something I see time and again. Slimpod isn’t a quick fix. It works in the background, helping your brain make different decisions for you.

I’ve slowly gone off meat unless it’s super tender, I’ve even had fillet steak and not liked it, it was one of my favorites! The texture turns my stomach.

She hasn’t followed a rule or decided to cut it out — it was just a shift that’s happened naturally. This journey isn’t about sticking to someone else’s version of healthy. It’s about noticing what works for you.

“I’ve noticed when I don’t eat any refined carbs or sugar, I don’t get the afternoon slump. I used to nap, I felt so drained… but this week I had a day where I didn’t even think about a nap. That’s a first. It didn’t even register.”

Noticing patterns like this helps you build trust in your body. There’s no need for rigid rules or tracking everything — just gentle awareness of what lifts you and what drains you.

Laughing through the changes

“Well, he’s done it again—our Trevor’s ruined another one of my favourites. First it was cake… now it’s Moët! I had half a glass on my husband’s birthday, and it was awful. Not off—he liked it—but I just couldn’t drink it.”

I love this. These little moments really show how powerful subconscious change can be. You don’t need to force anything. You simply stop wanting the things that no longer benefit your goals.

It’s not about following someone else

Now, I want to be really clear here. This isn’t about doing what Lindsey’s done. Her journey is hers. Yours will look different — and that’s exactly how it should be.

Lindsey is a great example of someone who’s learned to tune in and experiment gently. That’s what we encourage. Whether it’s a new breakfast, a different snack, or even just noticing how a certain food makes you feel — it’s about exploring what suits you.

Your Winter Warmer challenge

To support this kind of experimenting, we’ve created a FANTASTIC community challenge called Slimpod Your Way. It’s happening right now in the community! Three weeks of simple exploration — no tracking, no goals, no pressure.

Everyone loved the move your own way so we are doing something every similar to keep up motivation this winter. We’ve even included a light-hearted food experiment. It’s about adding or swapping — never restricting. And if it doesn’t suit you right now, that’s perfectly fine too.
